To start off this blog I thought it would be best to start off with one of our first smaller tasks. We were put into pairs and were then given the task to make a poster for an existing movie and do it in a way so it would misrepresent the product.This was after looking at a movie called "For the Record" which by looking at the cover was a gritty British gangster movie although ended up being a comedy mockumentary.
This is mine and Christians poster for "Goodfella's" the Martin Scorsese picture. A movie that is about an American Italian Crime family, we put a slight twist on it and added the Pizza and respective logo of the Pizza food chain of the same name. I think it works and is quite effective and I like the slight alterations of the faces that just add to it. I think it is fairly simple but it works.
